Many problems come up from this like tangling of clothes and such. This made the clothing a lot more wrinkled and thus hard to iron. To avoid this issue, the new dryers now spin the clothes in both the directions as well. Because they are moving in both directions, the clothes can certainly untangle themselves.

In order to save energy, many of these dryers are also fitted with sensors that could indicate when the clothing is totally dry. Thus, it may avoid unnecessary waste of energy. For woolen clothes, there is also an option referred to as crease guard. This can enable the woolen clothes to dry faster without the creasing.

Other features such as timer, to time the drying procedure, heat settings for passing the hot air through the clothes with various temperatures as well as other special treatment for particular varieties of fabrics.

Though some combinations can maintain the performance of the dryer, they are relatively more expensive. Therefore, careful choices have to be made accordingly.
